So i have a small breather instead of an oil cap on my engine(just for looks), and i got some "profesional" guys to wash the engine. So when they left i checked how they did, and i noticed that the breather was soaked in water, so i pulled it off and it was dripping ALOT of water, meaning water went inside the engine where the oil goes!! I havent turned the truck on at all cause i dont know what to do. Someone said to change the oil, and il be fine??, please help me out im a newby, Thanks in advance

Condensation builds up on the inside of your engine in cold weather anyway. When your engine reaches temp this condensation evaporates.

Most likely very little water got inside anyway but as others have said. Change the oil. It will be fine.

I used to race blown alcohol. There would be tons of water in the engine after a few passes. Never seemed to hurt it. A lot of other stuff did though. Lol

Ok so this is weird, apparently the guys washing the engine had nothing to do with my Luv not turning on, someone told me to put carb spray in the carb, so I did it and the truck would turn on for 2 seconds and then turn off every time I did it. So I had a mechanic check it out and it happend to be my fuel pump!!!!!! So basically it was a huge coincidence that my fuel pump went out the same day the guys washed my engine!!! How weird is that?????!!!!!

So now my truck is up and running again!!!!!! :D
