ok so I've bought my second LUV and have never heard it run(it cranks over thought)...want to know what I should do to do a complete ignition tune up? if I did you guys suggest Isuzu conv. or pertronix? and I will be getting a weber some time but have to deal with carb I have now...I've already drained fuel and it comes out clean, pump works but don't see fuel in carb bowl...im thinking I just wanna clean all the parts of ignition including wiring and carb and see if it'll come to life.....so ? is what should I do as far as cleaning what, changing what, and converting what????

condenser
cap rotor
coil
set timing with vacuum line unplugged

buy from rockauto is cheapest but shipping can be slow

i did the 85 pup distributor swap to get rid of the points, its a drop in swap but can be more expensive than the pertronix swap. I got the distributor remaned from rockauto on sale for a few bucks less than the pertronix unit. either one works the same so whichever you can find cheaper
