I picked up a bottle of Kaboom at Wallmart for my hot tub to get the nasty hard water deposits off and it worked far better than anything else Ive ever tryed. Thinking it would probably make an excelant parts degreaser.

Never tried it but I've heard oven cleaner works well for cleaning up greasy stuff. I would try it an parts that are in the vehicle cause you don't want it on the rubber or painted parts.
