Does anyone know where I can purchase a replacement tank for my 80 luv. Mine has pin holes in the bottom of it after I spent 5 days cleaning it. Or any ideas on how to fix it or have it repaired.

small tack welds maybe or a really strong epoxy like that quiksteel stuff?
since its empty anyway tack welds wont hurt, beyond that you may need to find one at a yard its not likely you will find a new or oe one.
are you in a hurry to find one? I may be ditching mine for a 16-20 gallon I can mount closer to the rear end so mine may be up for sale soon

I have a stock Luv gas tank here in SoCal. I can check on the shipping cost if you want. Shoot me a PM with your address and zip.

It has been empty for years in my shed. I will check it for gas smell but it is pretty much a metal can at this point I think. Heck, I shipped ammo last week with UPS. :)

Absolutely do not try and weld a gas tank. It is a bomb waiting to go off. It has to be washed and purged with an inert gas. Even then good luck on finding someone to weld it. Too dangerous. If you have small pinholes, there are products to clean the coat the inside of the tank. http://www.eastwood.com/gas-tank-sealer-kits.html
This kit works great and is very easy to use.
