I know in the past I have come across the how-to on the points to electronic distributor conversion but I can't find it again. I've played with the search quite a bit but am not finding it. My main question is what wires connect and where. I remember it being + and - to the coil. Is this correct? I know it was really simple but can't find the thread.

I used a 1985 isuzu pickup 1.9 distributor its a direct drop in and electronic, one two + and one to - on the coil and its good to go
There is also the pertronix ignition coversion on the stock dizzy that is generally cheaper, you can find a used pup distributor and drop it in

If you have not obtained a distributor yet, I recommend going with the newer Isuzu ones with the internal module. Simpler setup and one less thing to have to find a place to mount.
