Hey Guys, in the picture below of my drivers side lower singe, there's a rocker arm (at least I call it that) connected to the spring. When I open my door all the way, the arm locks in place, but when I go to close the door the arm does not want to release. I have to pull pretty hard on it to make it move. Could this be an issue with the spring?

Grease/Oil the part of the arm that rolls on the roller, and oil the roller. Most of mine the roller has not worked very well, but as long as it slides the door will close and not bind. If it binds enough it will bend the part with the roller back. Actually, looking at the picture it looks like yours already has done that some and it might be binding on the part that doesn't roll. Maybe see if you can get it back straight with a little prybar action.

Try realigning it first. I had a hinge do that and after grease and repositioning it stopped.

Good call, I used a small prybar and straightened the pin that holds the roller, then oiled it. Still makes a little noise, but at least it works. Eventually I will take it to a machinist and have hinges drilled out.
