So I've had LUVs for probably 4 years now. I've always like the way they look and wanted a nice one and finally I've got one that's just about done.

Here is the first one I bought. I blew a motor in it after about a year, so I bought an 81 and took the motor out of that and swapped it in. It had 200k miles and it blew up about a year later. Then I bought a 4x4 with a rebuilt 1.9L header, intake and a 5spd trooper tranny. I had to have the tranny rebuilt. Finally I was able to get it into the paint shop.

Maaco did it. I'd say it about a 7/10 job right now. I took all the lights and stuff off myself. They painted the door handles which I didnt expect them to do. I got another pair laying around but I'm not sure its worth the hassle to switch. So here it is after the paint job.

Put a few cosmetic pieces on and it was off to Discount tire.

Few more emblems on and then the canopy, which isn't a perfect match but its close enough.

They color matched a spray in bed liner for it.

Thanks for looking!

Wow, looks great! It's amazing what a paint job can do.

Ok the tires are 215/65R15

The wheels are Unique 96-5760 which is 15x7, 6-5.5, and -6C. I don't know if -6 is offset that sounds kind of extreme but the part number is correct.
