Started tracking down my horn issue a while back. Got fed up with it so i left it alone. Decided to get it fixed today since all my new horn parts for the column have been here. Replaced them all with no luck. Then i realized the steering shaft in the column wasn't grounding. It wasnt grounding because the rack and pinion wasnt making a ground. So I fixed it. IDK if there is a cleaner way to do this.. But my buddy suggested a ground strap.. works for me. Tapped the holes and soldered the ring terminals on.

I was questioning the way I grounded the column. Wasn't sure if anyone else has had a problem like this. And yes it did work. I finally have horns.

Been wanting a dome light. Picked this up from oreilly's since like 98% of LUV dome lights were falling apart or missing all together. Mine was falling apart and half missing. Plenty bright. Will be nice to be able to see around the truck at night when leaving somewhere :lol:

Has a little button on top to where you can override it and keep it off. Will be good for when i have the doors open working on it.

You ever find the interior door handle covers? I was searching Ebay and came across these, little expensive but brand new.

Gonna keep them put up till I get the inside redone.


Fiddled around with it all day getting all the air out of the cooling system and figuring out why the efan wasn't coming on.
