Just replaced my old stock alternator with a new stock alt., I installed a 40 amp rather than the old 35 amp... I also replaced the voltage reg with a new P.O.S. unit... Which did not want to work properly... I put the old V.R. Back in.... It worked fine for a few weeks, now the gen light is pulsating again. It pulsates in Park, then gets brighter in reverse, and goes out when I put it in drive... Occasionally while driving, the gen light begins to glow and pulsate dim... What the heck... Pulling my hair out... Any ideas? Thanks :-)

Yup, and also check/clean your fuses, fuse holders, and connections to the fuse box. You will likely find the cure there.

Thanks for the info... Cleaned the grounds when I installed the alt. , but didn't think about the fuse block... Will give an update as soon as I can...
