Stock engine? Mine does this every so often, just click (it's doing it occaisionally now), sometimes several times before it starts. In the past I have fixed it by removing the solenoid from the side of the starter, the cylinder and the piston inside will be coated with what resembles clutch dust & won't slide freely. Clean both well, lube lightly with WD-40 and it will last another 3 or 4 years before it starts again.
