In the process of doing the Toyota spindle swap on my luv and have a problem. I have dhp upper arms with Toyota bj so no need to ream spindle out. The bottom bj taper is the opposite way to the spindle taper. ( top of taper on spindle is wider than bottom so bj won't slide in) Balljoints also fouls on the back of the spindle it's like the Balljoints needs to be flupped over, anybody else had any problems?

The swap sticky you were in dealt with just swapping the rotors for a yota to the LUV. The spindle swap is a different animal. Due to the ball joint orientation being different, (as you have noticed). I think you will find the going difficult without new lowers. I will shoot a pm to someone who does that stuff, and see if he is interested. Might take a day or three...

Thanks for that. In the sticky I thought I was reading about a few people who had done the spindle swap aswell. Saying it worked apart from top bj but ive obviously mis understood what I was reading.

Anybody got info on this? Does anybody know if Toyota lower bj fits stock luv arm?

How do you mean similar delivery issues? If you were going to refer me to mike white I have already ordered and payed for his arms over 18 months ago and he is ignoring my calls emails and texts that is why I'm trying to find a different option

No, I was going to recommend someone else other that Mr. White, however, on another board I am on, this other person is having similar delivery issues. Which is unusual, as I had not seen/heard of that from them. Since they are experiencing slow delivery on parts to others, I won't send business their way again until it is straightened out...

Ok cool thanks. Good move not giving recommendations. Still hoping mike will sort his issues even though it's not likely. Was stupid to ever give him a chance
