Hey Guys,

I sent my stock carb in for a rebuilt, and now that i got it back, I'm not sure about a wire that's coming off it.
It looks like it might just be a ground wire. It's very short, so not much it can connect to. It has the blue conntectors on it. See photo.

My luv is 1980 4x4.

Well I took the wire off, and hooked everything else up to my Carb, it runs good.

I used "Guaranteed Carburetors " in Largo, FL. For $190 plus shipping. They completely rebuilt my carb, adjusted the settings, expct for the idle screw, and included gaskets for mounting the carb to the intake. Runs good.

Wow, That carb looks great. I may do the same, My carb has no choke action what so ever.

I suspect it was a temporary ground wire they used when testing solenoid and choke operation. Just forgot to remove it.
Looks like a quality rebuild job.

This is the first thread I can remember that anyone had good luck with a stock carb rebuild.
