Hello, I was wondering if anyone on this site could give a heads up to this thread?

I see several people had posted and i have pm'd the thread started as well as left posts on the thread and have not heard anything as well as there is no activity from the original poster about the truck. I am assuming that the poster perhaps does not have the truck anymore or has changed his mind. Does anyone know?

My 1980 chevy luv 4x4 has been sitting at a mechanics since early Nov. 2011

My mechanic and I had agreed that the person that posted the above thread that either the guy had the parts he was looking for (something to do with the air injection?) something about a diverter valve and air mixture control and an air switching valve. that these were parts that my truck would need as the air switching valve was staying open. and if not he was just going to smog the truck and IF it failed i was going to do the cap program if possible.

the mechanic is waiting on this guy to see if he has these parts and how much. anyone know the status on this threads poster
