Anyone have a good set of Front calipers for sale in Oregon or Washington? I can't get the piston out of the drivers side on my '79 2wd.

Easiest way to get the piston out is to lay the caliper face down on a block of wood or something, and while holding it down apply air pressure to the inlet. Carefull, it pops out fast!

I tried that earlier today. No luck. Gonna try a bigger compressor tomorrow.

Don't do like a buddy of mine did a few years ago and hang your thumb over the end but it will guarantee the piston comes out.

No Doubt, I've often wondered how bad that would hurt. Drove to Portland yesterday and got a drivers side caliper from Baxter Auto. $47 complete with a new hanger and all the hardware installed. Just had to drop the pads in. I would have bought one for the passenger side too, but it isn't available. :(
