Got my new Weber 32/36 mounted up. Vac lines plugged up, EGR port covered with fab'ed plate. Emission lines removed. Fuel return line hooked up( instead of fuel regulator), New plugs, wires, cap, roator, coil, alt & VR, batt.

It idles fine, but when I give it gas it boggs down/out. If I hit the throttle quick it will bog to death.
Also if I can get rolling, it will bog down/out under a load.

I have checked for vac leaks and I'm pretty sure I don't have any. I have good flow from the stock fuel pump. I am at a loss as to what to do next, and my wifey is getting irritated, not to mention myself....

What are the chances I got a bad carb?
Anyone have any suggestions or have come across same issues~

Timing is at 6deg TDC w/ vac adv disconnected, bumps up to 8ish when vac adv is hooked up. Also is the timing supposed to increase when revved and vac adv is disconnected?

I haven't replaced my points yet, wanting to go to an electric dizzy set up, either petronix or a swap. I read everyone using a 85-86 pup electric dizzy but wouldn't a 81 luv electric dizzy work? Or is the pup a better make?

I didn't replace the ballast resistor when I got a new coil, could that be a big player in this electrical/fuel gremlin?

I'm almost ready to just rip the whole thing out and dropping it off at the machine shop...,
