 Post subject: Steering wheel removal

Can someone tell me how to remove the steering wheel. I can not find any threaded bosses to use a eegular steering wheel puller. Please help!!! I do not really want to resort to a sawzall, but i will if i have too :twisted:

Old school. Loosen nut, bring nut flush with top of shaft threads. Use a knee to pull bottom of wheel towards you while using one hand to do the same with the top of the wheel. Use other hand and hit the nut/end of threaded shaft with a hammer...

Good idea, that one listed above, and being a former fireman, I have found it is easy to remove the center nut,then rock the wheel back and forth from side to side while pulling hard on it, beware it may hurt when it comes off and you slam into the back of the seat!! But these do pull off fairly easily. dp

Ron ("lowzone") on the PlanetIsuzoo.com forum says it hurts when the wheel hits you in the face, too. :lol:
