Theres a good amount of snow on the ground tonight, atleast 6-8" where i live. So naturally i whent out a drove around a little bit. All i have to say is 4wheel drive is not realy that much help in snow. I was out on the roads driving in both 2wd and 4wd and all i noticed between the two was that when down shifting the truck stayed straighter in 4wd...
So that done i hit the open wall mart parking lot and did some donuts and hard braking to see how the luv handled and what to expect(this beeing my first real winter of driving) and i still didnt notice too much diference between 2wd and 4wd. All that it did was whith 4wd kept the truck straighter under simple things, but i could still get it wild just as easy. No wonder so many people have trouble in the winter if they thing 4x4 AWSOME... :?

they are 28x8.50R15. The 4x4 works perfectly. All i was saying is that 4x4 isnt the be all end all of snow traction. I need 4x4 to get out of my driveway so it does help. But on the road its not that big a deal is what i was saying. 4x4 or no, if you dumb youll still loose it.

speaking of snow, i had a branch the size of a luv fall onto my luv and my s-10, i was pissed, it destroyed the windshield in the s-10, almost hit my sunroof on the luv, bounced off my back window on the luv, and put a little brach through my bed between the floor of the bed and the wall. it splt my bed apart all the way to the top of my wheel well, OH GOD I WAS PISSED!!!!! But i pounded the side of the bed back in, cant even tell anything happened, and ill get my bed welded sometime soon. and as far as my s-10 is concered, i was just gonna get rid of that anyways.
