Ok, so I found this little black box, located underneath the bed, mounted behind the licesens plate mount. This lil black box has 4 wires coming out of 1 side and 2 wires coming out of the other side. The wiring harness that runs along side this lil black box has 4 wires cut; 3 wires(harness) on the side of the box that has 4 wires, and 1 wire(harness) on the side of the box that has 2 wires. Have I confused you yet? Good. Ok..., my question is..., Is this a stock part? I can not seem to find this in any wiring diagram..., if my description has confused you, I can send you a pic txt as I do not know how to load pic's up here from my phone...,

The end of last year I thought about towing a roller with mine, but figured it wouldn't work well.

So originally, the 4 wires coming out of the harness, I'm guessing, went to the trailer plug mounted on the plate frame? or is this box needed?
