OK I know that there are several of yall that go a lot faster than I do BUT how many can truthfully say that you can drive your truck to and from the track, back and forth to work and home EVERY day!! Well I only got $ 700.00 in my motor and do just that with mine and had my best ET ever tonight. My truck went 12.642 @ 107.39 in the Quarter. that is without any power additaves at all on 87 octain pump gas!!!!!

GOTTA LUV THE LUV

The thing is that as long as your happy, thats all that counts. Clearing 100 mph in the quarter is pretty respectable. If you smile when you look at your time slip, life is good.

That sounds exactly what i am building right now, its a 350 60 over 11:1 with 441 heads. Its got one of the older edelbrock single plain intakes on it. The cam is a cheap summit, its like 510 lift and 245 on the duration. turbo 350, 9 inch with 4 56 and a mini spool. We just narrowed the rearend last night and now i am waiting on the axles. Shit man i was hoping i would get this one into the mid 13s. If not im gonna have to put the gernade juice on it. :D

Rusto with your 11.5 to1 comp ratio you should be in the low 12's depending on your tire size the 4.56 may be to much for the 1/4 mile. mine is turning approx 6000 at the traps. I got 31-16.5 x 15 MT ET streets on mine. And I only got 9.5 to 1 comp ratio too. ................

The next motor is in the works ... I was gonna build it but I am now thinking about just buying 1 from a guy. We built it and it has 10 passes on it. Get this now a 18* 434 small block ( tryin to hide a large smirk) it made 780 HP on our engine dyno at the shop !!!!!!! that was WITHOUT any gas ... ( spanky thinks he will install a big shot plate ) LOL
