why not a fuel injected 4ZE1?? trooper 2.6L you can take the 4x4 5 speed tranny too!
Because I have the 4ZD1 already, and I want to keep it cheap as I can. I wish I could, but I used my rent money for the truck!

I don't mind doing some motor mount welding, or that kind of thing. All the research I've done points to the 4ZD1 bolting up to the transmission ok, unless it's the turbo model. As for the motor mounts, I expect some welding there...
