I have to crank over and pump the gas a bunch to get it to start in the mornings but when warm will start just fine. What could this be? I thought at first it was the weber carb set up. But it seems like i am getting enough fuel. when it will turn over its really rough I give it gas and it will back fire in the intake through the carb and die so i crank it again and let it sit until its warmed up. any suggestions?

Back fire through the carb could be a timing problem.

hmm i think i have her pretty well dialed in any more btdc and she wont go up hills. Think my new points may have burned up better get some new points and a condenser and see if it helps. I just remembered that before i had the weber that it did this until i changed the points
