Can you remove/install engine and trans on a 4 x 4?

yes....
more specific question might help??

i have removed my engine/trans/t-case at least twice now.
and am about to again as i just got a serious bind in my transmission after a haul.
the transfercase and transmission will need to be pulled out as a unit (married) unless you have the time to pull them apart....

i have found it easy to pull the engine, then the transmission/t-case so there isnt so much swinging around the back to coordinate.

also.. any body/suspension lift? or a stock 4x4? also do you plan to remove the stock engine and transmission and reinstall or were you thinking of a swap??

the more specific the question you ask the better of an answer you will get..
