Are the original molded heater hoses still available somewhere? I need to change all of my hoses out and don't want to resort to generic crap.

Thanks!

I think I got them from NAPA about 5 yrs ago. Try them and let us know how it goes.

I had trouble finding them. At Pep Boys they let let in the back to dig through a bin of misc. hoses and found some that worked goo enough.

No luck at either, nor Autozone, or O'Reilly. Starting to look like the aftermarket has written off the 1.8 Isuzu engines as obsolete/antiquated. Bummer, molded hoses made a big difference in cleaning up the under hood area, generic hoses look sloppy. What's more sad is the lame selection of small parts you can buy at any auto parts store, I needed a bunch of misc. plugs for my Offy intake, eneded up getting them at Ace Hardware because none of the other stores mentioned above had the sizes I needed.

NAPA has a big assortment of molded hoses that might work. I saw them at a local NAPA store yesterday. Have not done it myself, I used regular hose and I don't like the way it looks. I will be changing them later.

I did some web surfing and came up with one (the long bypass unit that comes from the front of the head back under the intake) but still need to find the other shorter ones that continue back and wrap around to the firewall. Here's where I got the bypass hose

Yea, for some reason that by pass hose is still available. The others on the fire wall though, are another story.

I have one in my leftover Luv parts. 19in long with a 90 degree bend at one end, molded factory hose. I believe it went from the water control valve on the firewall to a juncture behind the cylinder head if memory serves me correct. Only that one though.
Portland Oregon area.
