Thanks Luvit80... it has been a long restoration to get it looking this good... if you have the time you can bore yourself with this album of the way it started to where it is now. viewtopic.php?f=33&t=23198 .Someday I hope to have a screamin' luv like yours. Been looking at a roller in Arkansas but the wife wont get off my case on this one let alone if I get the roller and start on a lsx swap.

I am glad you all like it.... the motor is fresh as of this winter. Somewhere in my past postings I have some pictures of the motor and firewall before and after. It has been a lot of fun to work on over the winter and I hope to get many years of fun out of it. The gauges were a nice touch to the truck and I cannot stand to not have a oil gauge and I have never trusted dumby lights so I said to hell with it and went all out on them. The neat thing about the gauges is they are a electrical style of sending unit so there is no pesky oil and water hard lines... just plain old wiring hidden into the loom. I am going to make a new back piece out of stainless or some other type of hardened material and put the turn signals and bright light leds in as well. It is always a work in progress but it is fun to work on. The truck has come along ways from when it first started out but it has been very well worth it. All that I am lacking getting done is the interior now. Then I will be satisfied with it for a few years until the motor goes then I will tear it all apart and go back up with it but this next time with four more cylinders.

well Chris... the dash looked like hell before I capped it. If you got some time and arent on dial up connection there is a link above in a response I posted earlier and it has a ton of pictures on there of the way the truck looked when I first picked it up.... needless to say it wasnt that nice when I started with it but it looks good now I think.
