BMW F650gs, single cylinder, 50hp and 44lbs ft. on and off road. Looks like it might be a neat bike, and the power on it is fairly low so it should be a good first bike too 8)

the 650 sounds like a realy good bike to me. I have been watching the Pairs Dakar Ralley for years and this bike is the production modle of tha bike BMW enters every year. In 2000 these bikes took the top 4 places 8O

'88 Yamaha Maxim 750. Paid $500 for it at an auto pawn several years ago. Had to weld some holes in the tank, bondo some dents, and re-paint the tank, and rebuild one carb. Runs pretty good now, better than my '81 Yamaha Special 400.

Right now I have a 1980 Honda CB650 that needs some work.

Though if I could get the bike I wanted I'd get either a 1960's-1970's BMW R/50 or R/60. I love the way they look.

Wouldn't mind one of the new BMW Rocksters, either.

1989 Kawasaki ZX7 H1. not the fastest thing on the road these days (low 11's on slipping clutch) but when i was a punk kid I wanted one of these really bad but couldnt afford the inflated 10K (in 1989) price tag. Plus they were kinda hard to find. Finally last year somebody was getting ready to toss one in the dump. One mans trash is another mans treasure i guess. I grabbed it for next to nothing. It runs good, but has a couple of issues. has a $600 Muzzy titanium pipe even. but my Uncle is VP of Kawasaki in El Toro so he is hookin it up with a new motor soon.

looks a little sumthin like this:

1999 Kawasaki KX250
similar to this one. I ride it ever other week.

My next bike will be a cruiser (getting too old for stunts on a sport bike). Looking at a Yamaha V-Star Custom or Classic...

If I had $$$$ i would get one of these:
