I don't have a header, but someone here might. Check around in the classifieds section and do a search. PM sent with intake info.

I got a Pacesetter brand header, (the only one currently in production for the LUV)
Ordered through Summit Racing. They were still available as of a couple of years ago.
Was right around $100.

And Moka, I'm certain that either intake, coupled with a Weber, will be a great improvement.
I like the extra torque of the DP because I do 4wheel it, but we also have thin air and a lot of hills around here, and I need the low end grunt more than straight line H.P. But I would gladly take the single plane if it was all that was available.

I am not sure exactly what motor you have, but after I did a little checking, the 2.0 in the early S10's might not be an Isuzu. '82 - '85 had a 1.9 Isuzu motor available and '83 -'84 had a 2.0 available, but the chart I am looking at doesn't say that it is an Isuzu. Let me know what you have because the Offy intakes I have may not work with your 2.0. The intakes I have were made for the '76 through '80 LUV pickup with 1.8, 1.9 or 2.0 motors. Early 80's Isuzu pickups and maybe those real early S10's with an Isuzu motor may work. Let me know if what you have will work and I will shoot you some info.

Well I don't know anything about those other numbers, maybe it is a motor type or serial number or something, but the G200 I believe means the Isuzu 2.0. I didn't see anything online where I looked whether your year S10 could have come with an Isuzu motor, but I guess it certainly could have or someone could have put one in it. I am sure someone here can chime in on what they know about it. Once you know for sure what you have and if it is an Isuzu motor, then let me know and I will send you some info on the intakes. Welcome to the forums and good luck with your rebuild.

its an Isuzu G200 1.9L. more than likely is out of an early model s10.
it is a direct bolt in swap for the original 1.8L and most parts are interchangable the offenhauser manifold will bolt right up :ebiggrin

I got mine today from Mocadeth, NICE STUFF and EXCELLENT service! :ebiggrin

I thought I'd share some pics for others to see what to expect if they order the Dual Plane version. I don't know how it will perform yet, and am still wondering if the 6204 CW would offer more power or not and what other differences there might be in overall performance between the two? I'm guessing the dual plane offers better low end response and slightly less peak HP/TQ?

Either way I'm having fun, just got my rebuilt 1.8 engine home from the builders (J&S Engines in Spokane) looks like a first rate job! The only mod from stock is an RV grind cam. I will be adding a Pacesetter header, elect. ignition, and of course a Weber for the intake.

Question....This intake came with a carb adapter, do I need to use it with a Weber and which Weber model would be the best for my combo? I want the electric choke.

Another off topic question, I also own a LYNX M160 dual side draft intake. What carb model #s would I run on this intake? Delardos and Webers are all I have to go on, does anyone have specifics and precise carbs numbers and sources to properly set this thing up? Would this be a HP upgrade to me Offy intake or a step backwards?

Glad you received the intake without any problems! There are tons of pics of both of the intakes back like 3 pages and there are even some pics of other intakes that Offy used to make for the LUV back at about page 9 or 10. If you look back at the pics around page 9 or 10 there are also some scans of the sheets Offy sent me from their book and that shows a comparison chart and other specs. That may help you a little with the performance comparison. As for the Weber carb adapter, I am not exactly sure, but I think it is actually a spacer? You may not even need it, I really am not sure, you would have to check with someone here since I haven't had my own intake installed yet. Good luck with the build and I am sure if you have questions you might find most of the already answered in this thread or someone can help you.

Yes, use the included spacer. The stock setup has a (crappy) spacer between the carb & intake too.
The Weber 32/36 bolts up beautifully. You will have to fab the throttle linkage brackets (the supplied and the stock one) together. Pretty simple 5 minute job.
And plugging all the holes if you decide to bypass the smog is a bit of a pain, otherwise it is a painless and noticable improvement.

As for the dual sidedraft intake, my guess would be that if you do the ignition upgrade, cam, G200/ G180 head, and header, you may see performance gains over the Offey.
But without those other upgrades, you would be overcarburating it.
Like that Offey intake for a 4bbl Holley. Just seems to me like major overkill for our little engines.

I do have the G200 head, a Pacesetter Header, and an 84 Pup 1.9 electronic distributor. Cam is a regrind to "RV" specs (whatever that means?). I did find a source for a new Delorto carb (Australia) but they want around $1,200.00 for the entire intake, install kit, and a carb. Pretty cool looking side draft setup but for my old beater truck 1200 bucks is severe budget overkill so I'll be using the Offy/Webber combo.
