OK I need to get the horn cover off to clean the contacts of the horn switch....but I don't see how the dam thing comes apart! I don't see any screws and with it being 36 years old I don't want to start prying on stuff and breaking it!

Regular or Mikado wheel? Dont know about the Mikado but if I remember right on the regular wheel. Disconnect the battery push down on the horn button with both hands and twist it counterclock wise. I could be wrong since the last time I took one off was 1985.

I guess you need a steering wheel puller tool.

On a Makado steering wheel the center section pops out so you can access the bolt.
Gently pry with a small slotted screwdriver and you'll see how it works. The ring comes out and then you can get the base below it out too. Sometimes you will find that a PO has glued it together so that makes it a bit tougher.

Hey thanks a lot. I was wondering why that center cap was glued on there. I started to pry it off but was in fear that there would be no bolt haha thanks a whole bunch!
