What year is your Luv? Last time I bought a kit I just had to tell them the year and make of my truck.

they are asking for a CARB number. it's a number to help identify the coverage of the rebuild kit so that they make sure you have the right parts.

take a look on the (and im saying from memory here) front near the float bowl (the plate that has the sight glass for the float) there should be a number near there that you can give them. should start with a 15XXXXX etc....

otherwise i will find you a carb kit at work for you tomorrow.

What year luv, and is it 4wd?

I guess Napa does things different. They just looked it up by year. The kit I got had a lot of different parts in it, but it did have what I needed. But I like the idea of have it more specific.

yeah most kits will cover a vehicle's year carb offerings. i know the rochester kits will have parts for 4 different models of carbs, but all from that same year.

None of the carb rebuild kits for the Luvs contain the diaphragm for the vaccum secondary. If your truck bogs down or sputters under heavy acceleration, that may be the problem and rebuilding it might not help. I know, I had that problem, bought a kit, rebiult my carb and still had the same problem after the rebuild.
Just a heads up.

Can the diaprhragm for vacuum secondary still be a part you can buy?

No. I have not seen it listed. In the carb kit I bought it shows it, but says all parts listed may not be included in the kit.
I took that parts list to 5 parts stores and no one had a listing for that diaphragm and no carb kit for the Luv I have found includes it.
