Hey guys,

I was hoping someody could tell me what kind of a rad is fairly short length wise and not to tall. I need to find a rad that will fit in my LUV and cool a SBC 283, cuz the big chevy truck one i got temporaryily bolted to the front is just way too tacky. Im not afraid of some cut and snip either. A new aluminum is just too much for this cat to shell out! Mines a 1981 LUV so thats why i need a short one, b/c there is little room height wise...Thanks in advance!

I am putting the finishing touches on my radiator installation. It is an aluminum one from SPEEDWAY.COM and cost only $150. If you want, I can send you some pics of how I am installing it. I am sure there are others who have different methods of installing theirs so you can pick and choose the method bets for you. Let me know if you want some pics.

Hey SmokinLUV. Did you get the pics of my radiator installation? I did some more work on it and will send the rest this weekend and also have them posted in the projects section along with my other truck pics.
