harness came in yesterday. got some most of it ran.. dont know how to secure the computer? never paid attention to how a factory computer mounts. not sure if im mounting it there or not. might make a bracket n have it mount off dash so u dont see it when the dash is finished. fuse box is bolted to firewall. dads gauges for his truck came in a few days ago so i asked him yesterday if he wanted his xmas present early.. he said yes.. and gave me one of mine.. borla mufflers.. woot. gotta jog the exhaust up some so the mufflers clear the ground.. gonna work on that this weekend hopefully. well heres some pics of the shit.

Looking great man. I am still loving the lsx type concept too. What radiator is that and what are the dimensions?

thanks man. i always wanted a ls swapped s10.. but i ended up doing this instead. i sometime wish i did an s10 because id be driving it by now since its a fairly simple swap but this is cooler. hopefully enjoyable and not something thats only fun to drive on occasions. if it isnt fun ill redo it again lol.

radiator is a universal radiator off ebay.. ill get some dims off it tomorrow.

Nevermind on radiator dimensions..... found the old link you had placed on your buildup.... I am into this lsx style swap... I agree that old school with new school stuff is a pretty sick mix.

Silly question...
If it is going to be street driven, do you have to have a functional emergency brake to pass state inspection?

its not going to have an inspection.. gonna be registered as antique or classic.. whatever one doesnt need inspection, im doing that one.. and worse come to worst, ill air the truck out and itll slow down fairly quick :)

I can see the conversation at the DMV now.

DMV- "Ok sir, enable your parking brake"

you- (flips a switch) SSSSSSSSsssssshhhhhhh BAM!!

DMV- 8O "Ok sir. WTF was that?"

you- "What???? Its defiantly not gonna move"
