While remodeling my old house, I was up in the attic doing some wiring, and ran across these, they are unopened...

Do a web search. There are beer can collectors all over. My Dad's friend used to. Unopened is a good thing. Usually collectors will put a small hole in the bottom to drain it out, keeping the pop top intact. Those could be worth a few bucks.

I guess 4 beers did the job back then...

On second look, I thought the pull tabs were long gone before those nylon carrying dealies came along...

I remember my Dad drinking beers like that when I was little. Tall steel cans. He would pick up a sixpack or two. Cracks me up. Back then, a case, (4 sixpacks to make 24), was as big as it got. (except for a keg) And usually 1 or 2 six packs did just fine for the night. Now days, you can buy a 36 pack, and hope your buddies bring some to, so we have enough.

They are from 1974. They have the pull tabs as well. Actually got 3, these 2 had mud dauber buildup on them so I carefully pulled them out of the plastic ring and soaked them. The other one was clean, so I carried it to my sister-in-law's bar and put it on the collection shelf...

He must have been really drunk since they are pull tabs.

That pretty cool those have been hiding that long, when I remodeled my garage last year, I was finding papers from 1952 in my attic, found a pepsi bottle cap that has to be from the same time, has cork under the cap, I have it on my garage cabinet.

Did the other 2 cleanup alright?

Used to have cork on the underneath of pop bottle caps scratch it off to win ten cents. Catch up with the bottle and get another ten cents. Cool idea Huh? Recycling. It was working then we got plastic.
