That was before. Step one removed box completely from truck,Which brings me to a question.Behind the drivers side front of box theres a cover ,behind which theres a black plastic thing which there are three lines coming from the fuel tank, this is for what ? Anyway Im fabing the lift and also changing the exhaust to dual tailpipe and replacing the fuel sending unit (aint no wonder gas guage never worked this thing rusted big time).

Thanks for the information kinda what I figured along the lines of that I will have to add new lines there to make up for the two inch lift.Planned to reroute the fuel lines and the aftermarket pump too ,keeping them from harms way.May fabricate a box to protect the all between the frame and box floor.

if you don't live in CA don't worry about those lines to the bed they just get in the way and aren't needed

Houston we have a problem ;My fuel gauge has not worked since i bought the truck since I had the box off I pulled the sending unit it was appearent why it was a glob of rust and a totally trashed but cannot find a replace from Napa , carquest or advanced anyone know of a place to get one ?Also my truck has the "gen" light thing going on Im trying to troubleshoot that circuit by replacing and removing all components so Ive replaced the fuel pump and relay with a inline pump and rewired the turn signal circuit what else is on this circuit other than the generator which I have have in plans to replace with the one wire alternator.?

I just learned from experience, just yesterday, that if the fuel relay isn't wired just right, gen light will come on. Also, the regulator is tied in here. If it was going out, light would come on.

Yea i twisted the tbars just a little still plenty of adjustment left there and a two inch body lift which after measuring were more like two and a half forgot to count in the extra rubber bushings, any how the tires are 235-75-R15 good year wranglers .Theyre actually working great in the snow but gear ratio musta been changed with larger tires as she's really touchy throttle wise , doesnt take much to spin em.Ill try to remember to get pics up tomarrow nite of shifter and transfer case shifter. As far as sending unit no I hauled in a parts truck robbed the unit outa that one only to find it didnt apperently work either , still looking if I find one I try to find a source and let you know.Found a online reman place back east but holy cow could install a whole new fuel system for the price not to mention shipping both ways.

Well my luv is stock right now i got my motor out of the shop then ran out of money but i got pretty much everything full overhaul kit oil pump water pump ect....but once the motor is put together i will put a new clutch kit in then i will want to lift it and put tires on so thats the reason why i was asking......i am wanting to put a 2 inch body lift then crank my t bars about 2 inches after that is done i am trying to figure out if 31/10.50/15r will fit or maybe even 31/12.50/15r i need to find 15 inch rims for the truck there is noooo good off road tire that will fit on a 14 inch rim other than super swamper but there still small only like 28 inch tall so idk wat i am going to do honestly find rims for bigger tires or stick with the small 1s.....lol '

Also quick question do you have a side pic b4 and a side pic after you did the t bar crank and body lift? if so i would love to see them thanks man.

Yes but no on the body lift had a few extra pieces outa several other rigs kits so i cut em down for the two inches and added a addition cushion on the cab sections to ensure i didnt punch trough and left the box lifts at 2 1/2 inches
just to level out body lines its all in the keepin it lined up both height wise and side to side

yea i was thinking about cuting some of the square 1 inch tubing then drilling a hole in it and stacking 2 of them on top of each other for a 2 inch body lift but i might just buy a 2 inch body lift i wanted to do a 3 inch but everyone says i got to cut shifter holes and steering wheel hole if i do a 3 inch bod lift so i will stick with a 2 inch lift then crank the t bars i like your bumpers and the lift on it i planed on doing pretty much the same thing as u did well ima go to sleep now talk to everyone later!

If you go to Summitracing.com and search "fuel sending" you'll find a few universal ones to check out.

Back In the old days we would use hockey pucks, but universal lift blocks might be cheaper

Well I dont know who told you about cutting holes for the shifters and if they told you wouldnt with a two inch lift or not but I had to enlarge mine and as well for steering too,I went with the wagon wheel style rims so I could do away with some clearence issues on the back side like antisway bar in the front and inner fenderwall to the back. They have the right backspacing to allivate some of that issue and dont look too bad either. For me it was about the same issue you cant find a decent tire in 14" I drive some gravel roads to work and it doesnt take long before the good set was trashed.Sorry didnt get a pic of those boots and my truck isnt home tonite left it at work and drove rig home. But heres the best b4 shot I got of the truck.Hope this helps Oh I wouldnt use 1" tubing stacked either do 2" tubing or blocks stacking anything is never a good idea more parts the more chances something to go wrong.
