 Post subject: clutch cable question

just installed my new cable my question is there are 2 slots the cable goes into is that all that holds this cable in place under the hood its how it was before seems to work fine just want to ask most of you have had a few luvs this is my first been a toyota guy for years.if ur not sure what im talking about one is up on the feder well it snaps into and one below that you have to remove a 10mm to remove cable.thank for your time just want to make sure its right. :ebiggrin
