Took a trip this weekend up to northern california to stay at a friends ranch and go fishing. Sat. afternoon i go for a drive down to the store and i see a vega sitting behind a barn. So i go snooping around the place and find the cleanest vega i have ever seen. It looked like it had been sitting out for like 10 years or so, tires flat, paint is dead and passenger quarter window is broken but no rust, no dents, no nothing. Then this old man comes walking up and after about 15 minutes of shooting the shit he goes and gets the title and gives it to me. He said his son drove it to high school in 92 and it has been parked ever since. in 2 weeks it will be on a trailer headed back to san diego. Cant wait to get started on this one!

Its a 72, man it still had the owners manual in the glove box. And i think i have enough stuff laying around to build a pretty stout 406. My dad has a turbo 400 i think i can get off him. And i got this blue bottle in my closet for about a year now i have been waiting to try out.
