ok for a while i been wanting to put a slidding rear window in the 81. came across a 78 one with the back window and i was comparing mine and the 78 back windows together and looks to be the same size and i know they are 2 different body styles. but would that 78 slidding window work on mine or does it have to be from an 81 thru 86 to fit?

i dont think so. the 72/80 luv is round on all corners and the 81/82 luv has sharp bends on the bottom

if i can figure out a good seal to keep it from leaking i want to try and make the rear window removeable completely, or able to lift up like a hatchback.
