I talked to the trucking company Friday to schedule delivery of my order for Monday. I will let everyone know when the order arrives here and I will contact everyone who wanted an intake with all the details and in a general order of who has been waiting the longest as that only seems fair. There should be enough for everyone who wanted an intake and a few extras except for the dual plane, those are all spoken for as of right now. If anyone who wanted a dual plane backs out or doesn't need it now, then those who just asked me about the dual plane recently will be next in line.

Received the intakes Monday afternoon. All looks good and I will be contacting everyone basically in the order who has waited the longest. Don't get too excited if it takes a couple days before anyone hears from me as it will take some time to send the info to everyone and I don't want to swamp myself. The good thing is the intakes are finally here after an extra long wait. Here is a few new pics I took of both the #6204-CW and the #6203-DPW dual plane.

Here is some of the #6204-CW

The dual plane looks kinda like the stock intake.

Can anyone tell me what the differance is between the two?

Horse power, torque, fuel millage, ect....thanks so much....

I will be geting header, weber carb, cherry bomb, 225/85/r14 tsl radials,2 inch body lift, with torsion bars cranked.......using the truck as a daily driver and when it rains i will go off roading in the mud nothing to to crazy, also a place here in san antonio called devils den has rocks, creek beds, mud, ect but i wont hit the hard core trail.....which would be better for me....? thanks so much!!!!!!!!!

Well after looking at the dual plane and taking pictures last night, I noticed that the T shaped fitting wasn't there. I called Offy today to let him know I received the intakes and all looked good, but was wondering about that T shaped fitting. I thought maybe it wasn't required for the dual plane. He checked into it and called me back and I guess since they had not made these intakes in a while and another guy is doing the packing now, it got missed. He apologized and is sending me all the T shaped fittings out via Priority mail Wednesday, so I should hopefully have them by Saturday or Monday at the latest. So anyway, I will hold off until then to ship out the intakes so I can slip the fittings into the boxes. Sorry for the slight hiccup, but this is best that I caught it before they all shipped out and then have people scratching their heads wondering why things don't want to hook up properly and me having to send all the fittings out to everyone. I will still start contacting everyone with all the details and this should only push shipping them out back 2 or 3 days. Here is the picture with the T shaped fitting in it so it is clear what part I am waiting for.

IMO-The dual plane has a little more torque and better throttle response, but with my Weber carb, throttle response is not a problem it encounters. Dual planes are more popular on 4x4s. I plan on trying one of the dual planes later, but right now I going with the reg Offy manifold to finish my Weber installation, I'm running the stock manifold right now. The Weber carb and Offy manifold combo is what was run in the past. Worked good then and works just as good now.

the weber 32 36 and the regular offy intake bolt up correct? i got confused when reading up on the weber and offy stuff ... some need adapters, some dont .. i only plan to use the regular offy and the weber (in due time)

So far all I have ever ordered were Offy intakes that bolt up to the Weber 32/36. The dual port I ordered do as well. I would consider ordering some of the other intakes someday if enough people wanted them. I am surprised that there isn't more of a demand for the Offy that bolts up to the stock carb, especially in areas of the country that require all the smog stuff. I think the talk of using adapters is if you maybe use a stock carb on an Offy intake that was meant for a Weber or Holley, or possibly a different Weber. I know some people here had talked about having a Weber 38, but I can't say for sure if an adapter is required.

I received my intake in the mail within a week of payment and it really is a sweet casting! To be honest, I'm surprised no one has asked about the 4-bbl manifolds designed for the Holley 390. Offy's old literature even recommended it as a superior power-adder. That aside, I would definitely do business with Mokadeth again. He contacted me as soon as the lot of manifolds came in and shipped it off to me immediately once I sent payment.

One could assume by looking at my previous post dates that it took a while to recieve my intake. This is only because I sent a money order via snail mail. Mokadeth gave great communication, and I recieved my intake promptly once he recieved my payment.
I too, would gladly do business with him again.
