Hello all,
Just bought a 1979 Chevy LUV that is yellow. It has a 3" body lift, roll bar, extra cooling fan for hauling heavier loads, heavier duty single wire alternator, etc.
I love it, and am planning on restoring it back to [mostly] stock. Has a tiny bit of body rust here and there and needs servicing all around, but runs great and should be a fantastic first project for someone who understands the theory [I'm a mechanical engineer] but has very little hands-on experience.
I'll be looking for advice on where to get parts, what modifications really make sense, and people who will patiently listen to my bragging about how great my truck is.
I also got a truck bed full of spare parts, so if you're in the Portland, OR area and feel like coming by and seeing if I've got anything you'd need, drop me a line.
