Just looking for the boards opinion:
I found a G200 in an 85 PUP in a local yard. Condition is unknown, but mostly complete. (minus the dizzy, unfortunately) The yard's going rate is $199 + $24.95 core for Engines.
Is $225 too much for an unknown used G200? I know these can be hard to find.

Thanks, I certainly value your opinion, ctmandu.
I have the Pacesetter header, Weber carb, & I just sent Moka $$ for the Offy intake.
The only things left, really, are the ignition upgrade, a Delta cam, and a G200 block / G180 head combo. :twisted:
And then I stumbled across this G200. Not in a position to be rebuilding it as of yet, but wanted to know if I should go ahead and snatch it while I can.

i would ... seen cores go for $300 areound here and up... also i have a dizzy for it if you need it. i have it for sale at the moment for $100 it is out of my truck as i dont need it anymore...

I appreciate the offer, but I'm going to be scraping to come up with the $225 right now!
