I'm banging my head into the wall. Who makes a driver's side alternator bracket for a sbc with a v-belt setup? I don't really want a low one, just something to put the alternator on the driver's side rather than the passenger side. All the stuff that comes up in the search is outdated.

I'm running across some on summit and jegs, but I really don't want to spend $80 on a bracket.

Try Proform or Transdapt, possibly. Also, a short water pump style that bolts to the head will work with some spacers...

I bought a low mount, and it wouldn't fit on mine, had to fab one...
