Dose enyone know the CFM of a stock 4 blade fan on a 1980 1.8 Luv. I'm would like to upgrade to a electric fan as I need more air flow at lower RPMs, and need a bass line to start from.
Thanks in advance

The cfm rating varies due to the fan clutch and the rpms of the motor. You will be better off going with the biggest and most cfm fan.More air equals more cooling.Make sure to solder, use shrink tube or use sealed connectors so you don't have corrosion issues. I would make sure to wire in the relay and the temp switch provided with the fan. Also wire the fan to the diagram provided so it can run like it supposed too. Some fans run after you shut the ignition off!

My LUV came with a 4-blade fan & no clutch, changed the fan to a larger 7-blade clutch system that came on trucks with air conditioning, it's never overheated. Everything is bolt-on, so that might be an easy option for you.
