It is amazing how stupid people are that work in retail. I have a
sprawlmart battery in my Suburban tow pig, it had developed a dead cell. How do I know this? Because I have been doing both automotive and commercial/residential work for the past 30 years or so, and I HAVE TOOLS! After not only verifying a dead cell via my test equipment, but also swapping batteries with a known good one and verifying no problem with my ride (which I carried the stupid battery back to the idiot mart, by the way...) I have to wait while the one celled Amoeba behind the counter tried to hook the battery up to the amazingly complex

test machine behind their counter. About 10 minutes later, surprise, surprise, it spit out a printed reciept saying the battery had a dead cell...
Now begins the fun part. Idiot can't figure out how to work the register to do a battery swap. Mind you, the battery is 26 months old, has a 36 month free replacement. Genius comes up with me owing them a prorated difference of $92.02! He finally talks the older moron, who has worked behind the counter ever since I have been going there to help him, and, you guessed it, he also comes up with $92.02

SO they draft the new guy, under the theory the younger kids know more about computers, and what was behind door number 3? $92.02.
By this time, another hour has passed, and I am running close to being late for an appointment, so I get my old battery, and the printout showing it was bad, so I wouldn't have to wait next time, and jet. Go back this morning after gym, different set of morons, same store, lol...
This time, I get an assistant manager, who I also recognise as having been there for several years, so I think "hey things are looking up!"

He rolls through the process and guess what. $92.02!
![Crying or Very sad ](./images/smilies/icon_cry.gif)
So he gets a CSM, which must stand for contagiously stupid moron, to help him, and away we go again, with another, you guessed it, $92.02. I finally asked them if I could try, they got mad, as they though I was being a smarta$$, but hey, I had more experience by now than any of them...
Finally, a young lady on break from the produce section got me checked out. And NO, I ain't kidding about any of this. Now I know how Bruce Banner felt at times...
