Hi all, pretty sure I know the answer but I figured I'd ask.

Drove to work this morning and thought my headlights were really dim but they were just not coming on (tons of street lamps on the roads I travel).

All the fuses are good, the high beams won't come on either. I figure the combination switch is shot. Can anyone confirm? Going to see if I can salvage the switch but we'll see. Anyone have a good spare laying around they would part with? lol

Before you replace the switch, check the fuse box. Its parts are riveted together and often become corroded and things don't work even with good fuses. I took my fuse box apart a number of years ago and soldered the pieces together. The truck runs better since then than when 5 years old.

Labman nailed it. Super corroded ground in the fuse block. Can't wait to get my swap started, swapping to a blade fuse box!
