Does anyone know if other later model Isuzu steering wheels will interchange with the LUV?

*MODS/Admen: I posted a similar question in the body/chassis upgrades area, but I figured this was a less general phrasing of the question, and might be better answered here. Please delete if it's an excessive topic posting.*

I would just get an adapter and get an aftermarket one. A lot less of an hassle!

Well, the reason I was avoiding the aftermarket is that most all the inexpensive wheels are like 13" diameter.
I wanted to stay with a 15" wheel.
I did ultimately go with a newly released wheel from Grant, they call it the "Tuff Wheel" In 14" or 15", it's a reproduction of 71-74 Challenger/Cuda wheel.
Super nice looking in wood, but the foam version is just under $100 so I went that route.
I'm happy.

Isn't there a rule that you have to post a pic of anything you do to your LUV?
Let us see it.......

I really like the fact that it also closely resembles a Mikado wheel, so it almost looks like it could belong there.
Daddy like.

I like that wheel on there.
Also, Eyesore, (love that name  ) What color is the metal on your dash? It looks cool.

Cody; No, I was initially interested because I wanted a 15" wheel, but then I found this.
Thanks for the info, though!

rondog; It is Krylon (I believe) "Italian Olive." indoor/outdoor in satin. I was (and am) going for variations on the Olive Drab theme without actually using olive drab.
And the "Eyesore" moniker goes way back to my Subaru days..... :2gunfire:

That is a good looking wheel. Does the horn work properly as well? I'm off to search the Grant site now.

Well, there is physically no horn on my truck. (one of the things I keep forgetting when I'm at the junkyard) But if there were, it appears it would work well.
It was a straightforeward install. Summit racing was the best price/shipping I found.
