This is my 1977 Chevy LUV. Paid $1000 for it. Replaced cracked head gasket, thermostat, fixed some wiring, installed new temp gauge, new light switch, and of course did some cleaning.

I am currently working on this here passing gear. From what I know, this truck seems to have a standard carburetor because there is no passing gear bracket that goes to the cable. I am hoping to find out a way to hook this up. So far the only options i know of is to make a bracket and hope it works out ok. any ideas?

@ctmandu & hot92rsc - Thank you! you guys are awesome. this will help alot.

@donhaywood - the pics in the OP show the condition i bought it in (except the new temp gauge) I dont know about the history of it, but from what i have seen on it, whoever had it before me took really good care of it.
