Just in case there's not enough LUV videos out there I took at stab at You-Tube. This run has some issues with shocks and converter (you can see it bunny hop) but it still made a low 10 second pass. This is a street legal truck running on pump gas. I had a 9.96 and 9.97 run but those videos didn't turn out.

Do you race in the NHRA ET Points Series? In 2011 the ET Finals are suppose to be in Brainerd. If all goes as planned, I am taking my Luv up there for that.

I don't race as much as I used to. Ironically when I was younger I had time but couldn't afford to race the way I wanted. Now that I can afford it I don't have time.

Humm, ET finals in my back yard, might be a good reason to dedicate a little more time towards racing next year.

The ET Finals are a good time. All you have to do is sign up and pay to get in the points race. All you have to do is race 2 points races and you can go if you are in the top 10 in points. But if it is like the track I race at they are always looking for racers to go. If nothing else you could always come up and watch, but it is more fun racing. About the only bad thing is there is alot of waiting.

I did some supension work and picked up a tenth in the 1/8th. Ran 6.28s @111mph. Had a near perfect run last time out. Only left .007 on the table(.006 rt and 6.281 on a 6.28 dail in)....and I needed it as the guy I ran only left .015. Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.

What kind of setup you got? I have the same plan with my truck, make it a 10 second street legal driver. :D

The best approach for a 10 sec street truck would be a stout sbc with an occasional hit of No2. I'm too lazy to mess around with bottles and such. So I went the big inch route. The biggest set back is going to be a suspension that will hold up at the track and work fair on the street. My truck sees some street use but with solid end 4 link setup, and a roll cage that takes out most of the chassis flex, I ain't braggin about the ride quality.

You have a real nice setup. I hope my truck is as clean as yours on day :lol: Right now I just have a 350 with a little up grades but when i get so money which i hope is soon, my plan is for a 383 or a 400 with a big turbo.

I am sorry, but the stacks make me think "Mud" truck. Or the early diesel pickup trucks where stacks that were a popular mod. But I do Luv the truck. Just my Texas redneck showing. I worked at a auto machine shop where we sponsored a mud truck.
