You will be in that weight range with a non modified frame and no weight reduction. I have been mid 5's in the 1/8 on mine with a 377 and a set of iron World heads, slightly faster than that now with the Brodix Track 1's and the 427 sbc. :D I currently run an Edelbrock Super Victor, it is port matched to the heads. My favorite though is a Motown with a little work...

Somewhere in the link there are some pics. I have a standard (no kick out) 7 quart Moroso pan. One hing I LUV about the LUV, is 4 bolts, and the crossmember comes out and you can drop the pan...

At one point i was 2770 with A/C evap and heater core , stereo and speakers , bench seat with full upolstery and carpet . Aluminum headed small block . I averaged 3000 and had to add weight to make 3200#s for some classes .

If you go spray you will pay for the turbo one bottle at a time . That being said i like nitrous .

No it won't, unless the other 5 crossmembers have been cut. I have a removeable tranny crossmember, and I have had both of them out before with no issues...

ok guys the fiberglass clip was some thing I got very lucky on. I was at a swap meet a couple of years ago with my brother. Was fixin to leave when my brothers says look at that fiberglass luv front clip.Went over to look and it was still in the shipping crate. Ask the guy what he wanted for it and his reply was.....uh i dont know what it is. A friend of his found it in his dads garage after his father past away. I gave him $75 and started to walk away when some young kid walks up and says hey how much you want for that luv truck front clip? The guy I bought it from was like wtf??? You just hosed me ,all I could say was yeah thanks buddy!
