well check your coolant level, if thats down then youll have no heater but you motor will be running hot too.

your valve for the heater core might be stuck closed.
it is to the left of the brake booster if you are looking at the firewall.
you might want to check that also.

Your temp guage is a wire that leads to the passenger side of your engine block. When you put a new thermostat in it ..did you put the spring side up or down? Spring side goes towards your engine...down.

hmmmm......do you have like 12 radiators? cause that would cause it not to heat up.....LOL
have you pulled the heater line off of the valve and started the engine to see if you have flow through the heater core?
does the truck heat up after a long time? might be a thermostat stuck open....

me personally i would take the opertunity to install an after market temp gage. They are alittle better becouse the old ones tend to get off from time to time and a temp gage that has numbers will tell you more.

Try bypassing the heater valve on the firewall. It is located right by the master cylinder. Every luv I have I had to do this to since I am in ND i dont need just a little heat I need all that I can get.

well i lost my heat 1 time and it was because..........where the heater valve is on the firewall on driverside.the cable comes out and connects to the cut off.their is a flat strip of metal "clip" that holds the cable still when you are switching it from inside the cab.the clip had come off mine and wasnt letting the valve open all the way.maybe this will help tried to explain best way i could.
