As the title state's, is it possible to put one of these into a 72 luv? A buddy of mine is resto modding his 66 Nova wagon and he is willing to give me his inline 6. Now I know there will be some Fabrication involved, but will it fit? I also have or will have a T-350 to go with it. So I pretty sure I'll half to move the cross member.

PS
This is temporay engine swap till I can put in a V-8.

My guess is no, not without doing a lot of firewall and core support cutting, that wouldn't be needed for the V8. The I6 is just too long.

Well aren't you going to half to move the radiator to the front side of the core support any way? Then you could run a eletric fan to gain some more room.

A V6?, no problem. A straight 6? No. It is too long. I guess you could mount your radiator in front of your grille... stand it on top of your bumper.

If I remember right, your truck was the tan one that you had pictures of earlier this year? Bought it from a co-worker?

That truck is clean!
