There's more to be concidered... The 80 LUV has front disk brakes! Swapping brake systems (including the master cylinder) would be another another aspect. What condition are the frames? If either frame has any rot to them, it's not worth messing with. There have been some members report that their trucks have had major frame corrosion in areas. Even though we cant see either truck, It makes more sense to fit the motor to the 80 since it has better brakes, newer frame. Hiring a welder for an hour or 2 sounds like alot less agravation.
