I recently pulled my 350 & 700r4 from a 90 Van G20. It drove great, but did have 190k miles on it when I pulled.

Multiple people I work with have suggested I rebuild. to be honest, I wasn't planning on doing it, since they were in good condition before I pulled them (no leaking or burning oil, motor strong, etc).

So now I'm going to ask the question to the LUV community, should I rebuild them or not? Remember, money doesn't grow on trees and I know it's more expensive to rebuild, but then again, it's also better to do it right if I'm going to take the time/effort/money to do it in the first place, even if the LUV is my toy.

If it was running good, put it in, I got 326,000 and counting on my 92 Suburban, still no issues...

If compression and oil pressure are good, drop it in. Especially if there are no leaks or any other issues.

I say if it's out rebuild it now. If you dont have time to do it now when will you?

At that mileage I'd be more worried of the trans then the engine...
